Being self-employed at Pure Perfection has rekindled my love of the beauty industry and since joining the team I’ve also rebuilt my self-confidence in many ways. With over 20 years’ experience and after a short break, I knew I wanted to go back into salon but with this came a mixture of feelings. I’ve worked alone before which can be quite lonely and uninspiring at times but I also like working for myself. Financial information:

• A weekly service contribution fee is payable of £40 if working under 20 hours or £80 if working over 20 hours
• You will be paid 50% of the cost of any treatments (excluding VAT)
• You will be paid 10% of the sale price of any product sold to clients
• You are responsible for your own tax and national insurance payment
