Booking Appointments

Where possible please book appointments via our website

We have amended our booking terms and conditions so that you will not be charged for appointments, missed due to Covid-19 related illness if you have notified us. We ask that you inform us via telephone as soon as possible to cancel the appointment so it can be offered to someone else.

Please note: If any of our staff feel ill or have symptoms of C0VlD-19, they will not come into the salon. This may mean that appointments are cancelled or moved at short notice. Although inconvenient, please appreciate that this is for your safety. If your appointment is cancelled you can re-book or ask for a full refund or voucher.

To ensure we meet the needs of all our client, we cannot accept treat cards at this time.

Salon Housekeeping

As you are aware, we already have extremely high standards of cleanliness in salon. To help minimise any risk we have increased the frequency of cleaning to ensure surfaces, toilets door handles etc. are wiped clean using disinfectant products after each client.

All tools and equipment will be disinfected or sterilised in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions for your safety.

Wherever possible we will utilise environmentally, friendly, single use items during a treatment that will be disposed of safely after use in order to protect you from cross infection.

Visiting the Salon

If you, or any of the people you live with, feel ill or display any symptoms of Covid-19, please advise us as soon as possible and DO NOT COME TO THE SALON FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT.

As you can appreciate, we have had to reduce the number of people attending the salon at any one time so we ask that you attend your appointment alone.

If you require assistance please speak to a member of staff prior to attending to make necessary arrangements.

For your safety and to maintain social distancing, we ask that you attend your appointments at the time booked. Please do not arrive early for appointments as we may not be able to ensure social distance is maintained.

Our team have been provided with personal protective equipment (PPE) to protect you and themselves. We won’t be offended if you also choose to wear PPE when visiting us, in fact we encourage you to wear a facemask or disposable gloves during treatment (if it is possible).

Please use the sanitiser provided as you enter the salon.

Bottle water will be supplied but other refreshments will no longer be able until further notice. Please feel free to bring your own drinks.

All reading material has been removed to prevent cross-contamination.

Treatments

Risk assessment on all treatments have been conducted and we are confident that we can continue to provide these safely.

Where possible we will be using disposable tissue or coach roll. Please be assured that if we do need to use salon towels, they will have been washed at 60 degrees. After use the towels are put into sealed bags and stored safely ready for laundry collection.

All disposable items are bagged and safely removed from the treatment area every day.

During your treatment

The team all understand the importance of hand hygiene and we will ensure that we wash our hands in according with NHS recommendations before the start of your treatment.

We will endeavour to make your treatment as safe, comfortable and enjoyable as possible. If you have any concerns about your treatments please let us know and we will do what we can to assist.

After the treatment

We would prefer if you could pay for your treatment by card transfers but we will continue to take cash payment in a safe manner.

Retail

Until further notice the retail stand will be closed to clients. If you would like to make a purchase please ask your therapist to get it for you.

All of these procedures and changes have been implemented for your safety and that of our staff. We will continue to take advice from the Government and the NHS regarding safe practice and will amend them as necessary.

Thank you for your understanding.

Patch Testing

The PP team can’t wait to pamper you all and all measures are in place to safeguard your health and well-being.  We have now been given guidance by the governing bodies that we have to take extra measures for anyone having lash or brow treatments.

Patch testing is conducted to prevent any unnecessary risk of an allergic reaction.  All clients having lash or brow treatments must have a patch test 48 hours prior to your treatment if there are ANY medical changes due to covid or it has been over 6 months since your last treatment with us.

Patch testing is a quick and simple procedure that involves applying a small amount of the product we will be using behind your ear or on your wrist.

We have sent all our client’s details so please check your inboxes prior to your appointments.  We understand that this is a minor inconvenience but your health is our priority.

It is imperative that your medical records are updated at every visit.

Thank you for your understanding, feel free to contact us if you have any questions .
