When I first started at Pure Perfection my skin was problematic to say the least.
I have always struggled with my oily, acne prone skin- something I’m sure many others can relate to- and although I had a skin care routine in place nothing seemed to help clear my skin up.
After expressing my thoughts on this to the girls at the salon (Tara, Becca and Jess) and seeing the results my clients were getting after using Sothy’s products I decided to try them for myself.
The first thing that you need to understand when beginning your skincare journey is that you need to have patience and be consistent.
The skin is an organ after all and can’t be healed or corrected overnight- it is a process but is definitely worthwhile 😌. Your skin will regenerate itself approximately every 27 days (about 4 weeks) so don’t give up as your results are unlikely to be instant ☺️.
The products I was introduced to firstly was the Purity Cleansing Milk and Lotion which is best suited for oily skin.
These products are chemical free, oil balancing and help the skin become more mattified and blemish free! I use these products both day and night, before makeup application and after makeup removal.
I also purchased the Desquacrem Forte which is a 2 in 1 deep cleanser/ exfoliator and a best seller at the salon! I use this product 2/3 times a week to remove any excess oils and dirt from my skin.
After using these products, I noticed that my skin was becoming less greasy, my makeup was lasting longer and my complexion more even 😁.
After trialing these products and loving them, Tara then suggested trying the moisturiser and serum from the Detox Energy range.
This range helps to limit damage to the skin which is caused by pollution that we all come into contact with in our daily lives such as sunlight, smoking, poor diet and air pollution.
These products are very light weight and gentle on my skin and is the perfect boost to my skin care routine! 😍
Consistently using these products alongside having Microdermabrasion facials to remove the dead layer of cells which was serving my skin no purpose has completely changed my skin, the results speak for themselves and I will now always use the Sothy’s range 😄.
When it comes to your skin, the correct skincare and regular facials are the key to success and you really do get what you pay for.
Many drug store products contain water to bulk out the formula which means less of the amazing ingredients for your skin!
